Coming October 2026

Love INC Newberg brings local churches together to serve neighbors in need in the name of Christ. Its network offers practical help, educational classes, mentorship, and community events.

Love INC Newberg wanted more people to discover its work and stay connected. That goal led to an app for community updates and involvement, then took an exciting turn into learning.

Helping more people find Love INC

Love INC Newberg’s work in Yamhill County depends on people knowing what’s available and how to get involved. The starting goal was to increase that visibility: help neighbors discover services, keep supporters connected, and give people more opportunities to participate.

GrovLink’s Jeff Denton and Executive Director Christopher White knew each other through mentoring in Love INC’s Shame No More program. They first discussed the app in November 2025. By around June 2026, Jeff was demonstrating a way to bring Love INC’s work onto the phones of community members and supporters.

A place to stay connected and get involved

Events give people a reason to show up. Impact stories make the work visible. Donations and calls to action offer ways to respond. Together, these tools help turn awareness of Love INC into an ongoing connection with its work.

The app carries Love INC Newberg’s identity, with GrovLink providing the platform behind it. Staff can manage content and share updates from a browser, giving the organization a regular presence on people’s phones alongside its existing community outreach.

Then the conversation turned to learning

As the app developed, the addition of microlearning opened up a possibility beyond the original visibility and connection goals. Short learning experiences could bring Love INC’s teaching into the app too. That development particularly energized Christopher and Tracy, who handles communications.

They saw two ways to extend the reach of their classes: keeping learning going between meetings and reaching people who can’t attend in person. An app conceived to help people discover and stay connected to Love INC could also become a place to learn.

Preparing for the fall class season

Love INC Newberg plans to publicly announce the app in late September 2026, during its fall class season. Community visibility and connection remain at its heart, now with a new opportunity to extend learning beyond the classroom.
